I got printing technology in manipal institute of technology and opted for waitlisting on mechatronics, since I was always fascinated with robots. I am an average student and from what I have seen, printing technology is an easy study. What I want to know is if mechatronics is such a difficult line to take. I don’t want to repent later on.

difficult or not difficult is least problem. what is more important is your interest. if u like robotics, u should go for Mechatronics, your interest will make u want to learn more, by that u will study harder and eventually get good marks. if u choose for an easy studies which u have no interest in, u will get bored easily which will make u study less, and get bad marks.

I have to do a presentation for school about emerging technologies that have/are/will change business.

So far I’ve compiled this list but I could use some more suggestions.

4) Smart Grid
5) Cloud Computing

As for home based printers, I see that inkjet dominates that market for the most part, but at the same time, inkjet has a lot of different styles, so i want to know what kind of specification i should be looking for when buying a really good photo printer.

there are many brands that are about the same, look for canon or epson, they both offer some form of chrome inks that will have more longevity and better color. If you plan on printing any black and white make sure the model you get has at least one gray ink, you just can’t get black and white without it. Products that are sold with Tin containers have the product information printed on them. I am curious as to how that is done for several large quantities to make them cheap enough for consumer purchas.

it is a two color spray jet system that pepsi devoloped I think the can is formed out of a cube then it goes to another station where it is filled with pop of pepsi (lets say) then it moves on to the top that gets crimped on to the can and still the can is new nothing on the outside but the convayer that the can is sitting on I think is modified or it passes it on to another machine that rotates the can and well it does a computer scans the can and a series of ink nossles spray the pepsi logo onto the can and it is put back on a convayor to the dryers and out to the inspectors and then to the store then you buy it and drink it
